All exhibits must be registered or identified with the IDHS (GB) on either their IDHS (GB) or IDSH registers. Registration / Identification numbers to be stated on the entry form.
This class is a Bright Stars Qualifier.

Competition Horse/Pony, any colour, any type. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years and over, not exceeding 148cms and exceeding 148cms. (May be split) Rider any age.
Ponies (UK) Blue Chip Feed Balancer Championship. Method of judging:
Horses/ponies enter the ring individually & will be judged according to Ponies (UK) Performance /Competition class rules: They will be required to: Halt, walk on a long rein,
2-looped trot serpentine, extended trot on the diagonal, 2-looped canter serpentine which must include a change of rein, extended canter on the diagonal.
Show not to exceed 2 minutes.
Phase 1- Performance & Freestyle show 60 marks
Phase 2- Conformation / Type & Suitability for Dressage 40 marks
Snaffle or Double Bridles only. Blunt spurs may be worn. No change of saddlery will be permitted. The Irish Draught Horse Society(GB) will award Special Incentive rosettes to the highest Placed Part Bred Irish Draught exhibit in the above class. All exhibits must be registered or identified with the IDHS (GB) on their IDSH registers. Registration / Identification numbers to be stated on the entry form.
The highest placed CHAPS(UK) member/registered horse/pony may qualify from this class, qualifier card to be presented to the judge in the ring for signing.

Class 9 RIDDEN EX RACEHORSE

To be judged on overall condition, muscle tone and soundness in walk and trot. Race related scarring and other disfigurements (eg Bowed tendons, splints) to be disregarded. Consideration given to time out of racing, eg: a horse out of racing for 3 years should have better muscle tone than one out of racing for a year. All competitors to walk, trot and canter round as a group to assess general control. Individual shows should include walk, trot & canter on both reins.
To be judged on the horse’s acceptance of aids and suitability for its new job. Also to be judged on the level of control by the rider in all gaits and manners whilst in the ring.
Boots or bandages on horses are allowed.
Class 10 RIDDEN PURE & PART BRED IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE

Riders any age. To be registered in the appropriate Stud Book. Ponies of 148cms and under will give an individual show. These ponies will be ridden by a light-weight adult at the final. If you wish to qualify Blue, White or Green cards must be brought into the ring with you.
The highest placed entry at (a) up to and including 153cms and the highest placed over 153cms will qualify. No entry placed lower than fourth can qualify, even if only one height section is covered by the top four in the class.This is a qualifying show for the CHERIF CHAMPIONSHIP 2010. The final will be held at the Cherif Championship Show, Addington Manor Equestrian Center, Addington, Bucks. On 15th September 2010. You need not be members of CHAPS or Ponies (UK) to enter these classes.
This class is also a qualifier for the Ponies(UK) Summer Championships-My Little Nutmeg Novice Pony Final & Back to Black Novice Horse Final (CHAPS(UK).
P(UK) “Commanchee” Ridden Coloured Horse & Pony Championship.
