Class 31          IN HAND PURE &  PART BRED IBERIAN

For Andalusian, Lusitano, Lipizzaner and Part Breds. Stallions, Mares, Geldings, Colts, Fillies. Any Age. Part Bred’s will be split if sufficient entries. (One parent to be registered in their appropriate stud book). Youngstock will be split if sufficient entries.  

£5 to the highest placed youngstock not in the first 3 places.

Al Kingston Stud will be presenting a special rosette to the Highest Place Mare and Filly in this class.

 

Class 32          IN-HAND COBS or COB TYPE

The Irish Draught Horse Soc (GB) will award Special a rosette to the highest Placed Part Bred Irish Draught exhibit in the above class. All exhibits must be registered or identified with the IDHS (GB) on the IDHS registers. Registration / Identification numbers to be stated on the entry form.

 

Class 33          IN HAND FOREIGN BREEDS

Stallions, Colts, Mares or Fillies & Geldings. Pure bred. Any age.

Youngstock will be split if sufficient entries.

This class is self-explanatory. For horses or ponies who are of registered breeds not native to the UK, such as Friesian, Trakehner, Haflinger, Fjord, Icelandic, Spanish, Portuguese & American Quarter Horses. Other foreign breeds are also welcome.

 

 

Class 34          IN-HAND PURE, PART & ANGLO ARAB.

The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award a Special Incentive rosette to the highest placed Part Bred ID in the above class. All exhibits must be registered or identified with the IDHS (GB) on their Irish Draught or IDSH register and identification number to be stated on the entry form.

 

Class 36          IN-HAND PURE & PART IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE

4 years and over, Mares & Geldings. Registered on the Grade 1 Irish Draught Register or the Grade 1 Irish Draught Sport Horse Register. Yearlings, 2 year old Colts, Fillies & Gelding & 3 year old Fillies & Geldings,

Identified on the Grade 1 Irish Draught Register (out of a Grade 1 Mare(RID/AID/SID) and by a RID sire) or identified on the Grade 1Irish Draught Sport Horse Register.

£5 to highest placed yearling. (see wording at front of schedule for the Pure Bred)

 

The IDHS(GB) also presents a rosette for the highest Part Bred in this class.

This class is a qualifier for the NFU Mutual Irish Draught Youngstock Challenge (Pure Bred only).

Handlers up to and including 14 years of age. All handlers will be judged on their presentation of their horse/pony. The qualification is awarded to the handler, not the animal. If sufficient entries class will be split on age, ie:7^th birthday but not 14^th before 1^stJanuary this year. This is a Ponies (UK) qualifier for the

Pollyanna Home Produced Young Handler Summer Championship.

You do not have to be a Ponies(UK) member to enter this class.
